Gegenwärtig liegen AIA überwiegend als unstrukturierter Fließtext vor, was eine automatisierte Verarbeitung in der Modellierungsumgebung verhindert und einen signifikanten Informationsbruch darstellt. Das Forschungsziel bestand in der Entwicklung einer maschineninterpretierbaren Spezifikation, die projekt-, phasen- und anwendungsfallspezifische Anforderungen an die BIM-Modellierung strukturiert erfassen und in die Modellierungsumgebung integrieren kann. Methodisch erfolgte zunächst eine qualitative Analyse praktischer AIA-Dokumente zur Ermittlung des Status quo. Anschließend wurden bestehende Spezifikationen (IDM, IDS, LOIN) auf ihre Eignung zur Abdeckung der identifizierten AIA-Inhalte evaluiert. Basierend auf dieser Analyse wurde ein AIA-Datenmodell entwickelt, das eine Standard-konforme Strukturierung von Informationsanforderungen ermöglicht. Das Modell integriert Kernelemente der Informationsbedarfstiefe nach ISO 7817-3 sowie indirekt Elemente der ISO 23387 und gewährleistet Kompatibilität mit Ansätzen des Linked Building Data. Die Validierung des Konzepts erfolgte durch die prototypische Implementierung eines Werkzeugs zur Verarbeitung XML-basierter AIA in einer marktüblichen Modellierungsanwendung und wurde zweistufig (technisch und inhaltlich) mit Fachexperten aus der Bauindustrie durchgeführt. Diese Dissertation erweitert den Wissensstand im BIM-Kontext durch eine fundierte Abgrenzung relevanter AIA-Inhalte und deren Strukturierung in einem standardkonformen Datenmodell. Der entwickelte Ansatz ermöglicht eine methodische Änderung im Modellierungsprozess: Statt Anforderungen manuell nachträglich zu prüfen, werden diese kontinuierlich und automatisch in den Modellierungsprozess integriert. Dies steigert die Effektivität des modellbasierten Arbeitens und fördert die konsequente Umsetzung des Informationslieferungsprozesses nach ISO-Normreihe 19650. Die praktische Anwendbarkeit des Konzepts wurde durch die Entwicklung eines Python-Skripts zur automatischen Generierung XML-basierter AIA-Dokumente sowie durch die Evaluation mit Fachexperten aus der Bauindustrie nachgewiesen. Die Arbeit liefert einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Verbesserung des Informationslieferungsprozesses nach ISO 19650, indem sie die modulare Definition konkreter Anforderungen für spezifische Anwendungsfälle ermöglicht und dabei die Verbindung zwischen Anwendungsfällen, Liefergegenständen und Meilensteinen herstellt. This dissertation addresses a key challenge in the digitization of construction using Building Information Modelling (BIM): the effective integration of Employer Information Requirements (EIR) into the modelling process. Currently, EIRs are predominantly available as unstructured continuous text, which prevents automated processing in the modeling environment and represents a significant break in information. The research objective was to develop a machine-interpretable specification that can capture project-, phase- and use case-specific requirements for BIM modeling in a structured manner and integrate them into the modeling environment. Methodologically, a qualitative analysis of practical AIA documents was first carried out to determine the status quo. Existing specifications (IDM, IDS, LOIN) were then evaluated for their suitability to cover the identified EIR content. Based on this analysis, an EIR data model was developed that enables a standard-compliant structuring of information requirements. The model integrates core elements of the depth of information requirements according to ISO 7817-3 as well as indirect elements of ISO 23387 and ensures compatibility with Linked Building Data approaches. The concept was validated through the prototypical implementation of a tool for processing XML-based EIR in a standard modeling application and was carried out in two stages (technical and content-related) with experts from the construction industry. This dissertation expands the state of knowledge in the BIM context through a well-founded delimitation of relevant EIR content and its structuring in a standard-compliant data model. The approach developed enables a methodological change in the modeling process: instead of manually checking requirements retrospectively, they are continuously and automatically integrated into the modeling process. This increases the effectiveness of model-based work and promotes the consistent implementation of the information delivery process in accordance with the ISO 19650 series of standards. The practical applicability of the concept was demonstrated through the development of a Python script for the automatic generation of XML-based EIR documents and through evaluation with experts from the construction industry.
