Synthesis of functional polymeric carrier material for nanoparticle formulation and efficient gene and drug delivery

This cumulative dissertation reports the synthesis and characterization of functional polymers based on polymethacrylates, polypeptides and acetalized dextran. The tailor-made products were used as carrier material and material for nanoparticles, respectively. The aim was to encapsulate different active ingredients in nantechnology especially for efficient gene and drug delivery to targeted tisses.
