Besides academic research the IRGoCC wants to intensify the dialogue and knowledge transfer between practitioners in politics, business, nonprofit organizations, the media, and scholars interested in crisis communication research. With this purpose we launched the IRGoCC report with its first issue in February 2011. The report comprises working papers that cover topics in crisis communication from journalistic, scholarly, and applied perspectives. We invite members and associate members of the IRGoCC as well as international scholars in the field to report on their ongoing research. Moreover, the report is intended to be a platform for communication professionals and journalists to give insights into current crisis cases or developments.
